The club holds regular events and activities thoughout the year and you would be welcome to join any of them. Two main fund-raising events each year are the Charity Ball and the High Sheriff’s Concert (descriptions of each are on separate tabs) but there are others too.

Wine-tasting at Magnums in Old Town
As a precursor to our Annual Charity Ball we are holding a winetasting at Magnums
Friday 7th February (7.30 start) -cost : £20 per person
All profits from the evening will to a range of local charities
Chinese Banquet at the “Swindon Rendezvous“
24th February 2025 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm Cost: £21
This has become a traditional event for the club and you would be very welcome to join us
This year our International Committee is raising Funds For “Action Through Enterprise” a fabulous charity that is doing amazing things in Ghana and in addtion we hope to hand over agood donation to “Shelterbox” – an emergency response organisation.
Then on 11th March we want to take over Fabio’s Italian Restaurant in Old Town to raise funds for The “Swindon Downs Syndrome Group” as well as “Open Door ” a support group for disabled people. Cost £25 – again we’d love to have you join us!
