Now, you may be asking…
What is Rotary?
Rotary is an international organisation, with some 33,000 clubs and over a million members represented in more than 200 countries worldwide. Its aim is to provide humanitarian assistance and to help promote goodwill and peace both at home and abroad. Have a browse through our events and activities pages and see….. well, …. some of what we get up to !
In the Swindon area there are several different clubs, meeting on different days and at different times of the day…..one even meets for breakfast!
This is the website of the Rotary Club of Swindon, the oldest of the Swindon clubs, and we meet every Thursday at 1.00pm for lunch, at the Tawny Owl – that’s at Taw Hill, just off Thamesdown Drive, SN25 1WR.
Whether you are a Rotarian or if you are just interested in finding out more about the global Rotary movement please feel free to come along and join us at one of our Thursday lunchtime meetings and see just what goes on – if you’d like to see our programme for the next few weeks click on the tab for “Thursday Lunchtimes” – You will receive a very warm welcome
If you don’t already know a Swindon club member and want to find out more information, contact our club Secretary Steve (sbrainstev@aol.com) who will be happy to advise and provide you with any further information you might need.
If you decide Rotary is not for you, we really won’t be offended – promise!
